Camp Intern Program

Our camp intern program runs a little differently than the US as we don't own a property and instead execute camp weeks with a Camp-On-Wheels (COW). We travel to multiple countries to do a week of YL camp with local leaders and staff while the intern team provides skills and stability to the camping program. The purpose of the internship is to experience serving cross-culturally, going deeper into the mission of Young Life, explore new places with a small team, learn to fundraise and build a support network and have an intense discipleship experience. ​

South Team Session:​ July 3rd - August 13th

N. Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria

North Team Session:​ June 27th-August 7th

Hungary, Romania, Poland

And two individual sessions-

Ukraine YL Camp week- August 10th-21st

Czech YL Camp Week- ​ August 15th-26th

(*These could extend to longer opportunities by adding camps outside the Central & Eastern Europe Region).

(training can be given if you're inexperienced or interested in learning a new role)

Costs:​ It depends on flights and how long your session is. This is a "missions-leadership" intern program, therefore it is still a mission trip and you will have to raise money for costs (of which you will get in-depth training), but you'll gain experience in leading others throughout the summer.
