Serve in Washington, D.C., with Young Life Expeditions

Young Life leaders in Washington, D.C., serve youth in the most poverty-stricken quadrant in the nation's capitol. Ninety-two percent of the people living here are African-American and a large population are homeless.

An Expeditions team will stay in the Southeast White House and serve kids in this underserved area. They could help at the after-school program and other projects at the Dream Center, a place of hope served by both Young Life and the church. They could help with Young Life club and serve a meal or snacks to youth before this. They could serve at homeless shelters and get to hear stories of many forgotten people. They could visit the memorable monuments and attractions of this city while enjoying an incredible urban immersion on a trip they will never forget!
