St. Petersburg Open Team

July 1-8, 2017
This team will serve Young Life Russia by by being part of camp teaching English to for high school kids from in and around St. Petersburg. You’ll also help with all the typical Young Life camp fun as well as getting time visiting kids and leaders in the local community. You’ll also get the opportunity to experience the beauty and culture of St. Petersburg.
This is a great opportunity to serve Young Life Russia while growing in your faith and building lifelong friendships​.

Dates: July 1-8, 2017

Cost: $1500 + airfare
Costs can be fundraised and includes in country lodging, transportation, meals and project costs. We will help arrange your airfare.​

​How to Apply: 

  • APPLY HERE and select trip code – XRU01 Russia 2017.
  • Reference required. A minimum of one reference from a Young Life staff or long time volunteer is required. If you are not involved with Young Life please give two references from a pastor, mentor or an employer. Family members as references do not count!​
  • $250 deposit due upon pending application. Send deposit payable to: Young Life (Attn: XRU01 – Russia 2017) P.O. Box 1293, Danville, CA  94526. If you’d prefer to pay online, we will send you instructions after your application is completed. 

Additional Details: 

  • Application approval by our staff is pending until your reference has been accepted. If you do not receive a reference then your deposit will be refunded.
  • Group minimum is 10 people. If this minimum is not met by March 15 then the Expedition may be cancelled and your deposit will be refunded.
  • Our complimentary travel insurance covers things like trip delays, lost luggage, emergency medical or security evacuations.
  • Trip Cancellation Insurance is not included but highly recommended and can be purchased here.
