We're excited you want to go and serve Young Life! Each summer we offer one to two Open Teams per international division designed for people without a team of their own. Our Expeditions are typically designed for 18 years and above with the exception of the U.S. Expeditions. However, we do make exceptions based on level of maturity and Young Life involvement. So if you are a junior or senior in high school and would like to apply for an Open Team we will need two references including one from a Young Life staff. If you don't see an opportunity below that works for your schedule or desired location there may be a way to add you to a group already on the calendar. - Please apply at the button below. This takes you to our Managed Missions internal trip coordination and fundraising system. You'll need to choose the corresponding trip code as described in the various Expeditions linked above.
- Your application will be approved pending accepted references and received deposit.
- A minimum of one reference from a Young Life staff or long time volunteer is required. If you are not involved with Young Life please give two references from a pastor, mentor or an employer. Family members as references do not count!
