Friends and Alumni of Young Life are invited to experience the riches of the Holy Land — Israel and Palestine — and see Young Life ministry in action. On this trip, you will encounter the Holy Land with biblical, historical, and cultural insight provided by experienced tour guides and scholars. In addition, your passion for Young Life will be stirred. You will gain unique visibility into a growing Young Life ministry that is reaching teenagers, and communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ in this special part of the world. The ministry of Young Life thriving in the land of Our Lord — what could be more exciting?
Our experienced team will lead approximately 20-35 people through this trip of a lifetime. Trip hosts include Hunter Lambeth, Young Life Middle East director; Jonathan Schultz, Young Life Alumni & Friends Director; Michele Sbrana, director of Young Life Expeditions, her husband, Tony Sbrana, a Young Life veteran and worship pastor, and Andre Moubarak, Holy Land Scholar and owner of Twins Tours. We will travel on a Wi-Fi connected coach and stay at high-rated hotels on this eight-day adventure.

travel or you can make your own arrangements. We request that your flight arrive
in Tel Aviv between 1 and 3 p.m. on February 15 2019 and depart after 10PM evening on
February 23 or just after midnight. Delta, United and US Air’s daily flights
follow this schedule.

- Arrive in Tel Aviv, meet hosts and tour guides
Drive by coach to Tiberius, learn its culture and history
Check in at The Scots Hotel (three night stay)
Enjoy delicious welcome dinner

February 16
Vist Caesari Philipi
Tour Nazareth Village with traditional lunch
Visit Mount Precipice for special teaching
See other historical Nazareth sites
Visit Nazareth Young Life club at the YL Center
Meet Young Life leaders and kids
Enjoy dinner and fellowship at The Scots Hotel

February 17
Visit Mount of Beatitudes
Visit the Peter Primacy church where Jesus restored Peter
Visit Jesus’ home base of Capernaum
Visit Magdala - a unique First century village and synagogue
Enjoy a traditional local lunch
Board wooden boat replica for ride on the Sea of Galilee, proceed to the Ancient Boat Museum
Conclude day with baptism at Yardenit (also known as the Jordan River) for anyone who wishes to be baptized
Enjoy dinner and fellowship at The Scots Hotel and hear from one of several local ministries

February 18
Check out of The Scots Hotel
Travel to Zababdeh village in the West Bank and meet with our local Young Life leaders
Engage in a short time of serving Young Life kids or leaders and tour the Palestine village (if time allows)
Walk to the holiest site in the Jewish world, the Western Wall of Herod's temple
Tour the Old City and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
Check into Mount Zion Hotel in Jerusalem with dinner and a relaxing evening (three nights)
Tuesday,
February 19
Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, experience the Garden Tomb with communion and worship
Travel to Jerusalem and visit Mount of Olives to behold the breathtaking panorama of the Holy City
Dine for lunch in the Old City
Visit the Israel Museum and the Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem
Enjoy dinner and time together processing the day at the Mount Zion Hotel
Wednesday,
February 20
Travel to Bethlehem to experience the Shepherd's Field and Church of the Nativity
Attend a Young Life Capernam club and enjoy lunch at the Murad resort in Bet Sahur where Young Life camps take place every summer
Visit Separation Wall and then visit Murad resort in Bet Sahur where Young Life hosts camps
Enjoy final dinner at Mount Zion Hotel in Jerusalem
Thursday,
February 21
Check out of Mount Zion Hotel Hotel and visit the Garden Tomb in the early morning for worship and communion
Depart Jerusalem, travel the Good Samaritan route into Judean Wilderness
Travel to Qumran and settlement of first century sect known as the Essenes, authors of the Dead Sea Scrolls
Check into Hod Hotel Resort and Spa at Ein Bokek on the Dead Sea, visit hotel’s spat theorem pools and dip in the Dead Sea at sunset
Enjoy dinner and time together of fellowship and worship (two night stay)
Friday,
February 22
Enjoy exploration options, including the oasis of En Gedi and hikes to the waterfall
Visit a Bedoin viallage, enjoy a traditional camed ride and have a traditional Bedoin lunch at Kfar Hanokdim
Enjoy some down time by the pool and a day of leisure
Enjoy dinner, fellowship, and teaching at the Hod Hotel Resort and Spa
Saturday,
February 23
Check out of Hod Hotel
Visit Masada, ascending the desert mountains by way of cable car to the fortress built by King Herod
Survey ruins, synagogue, temples, and palaces
Travel to Jaffa, seaside district of Tel Aviv late afternoon to explore markets, lighthouse, museums, and other great sights
Enjoy delicious seafood dinner at one of Jaffa’s wonderful restaurants for our final evening together
Travel to Tel Aviv airport for after 10PM flights back to the US or where ever your travels may take you!
